Screenshots are evidence, not decoration

Snapshot Capture is especially relevant when data is difficult to extract through bulk export alone, because much of the valuable information is embedded in user interfaces, attachments, reports, and visual context. That is the same reason the product favors contextual narrative rather than presenting a raw pile of files, and the reason preambles carry so much weight: preserved records often outlive the original application and user familiarity. Screenshots do double duty in that scheme. As evidence they show system state as a user encountered it, which matters for audit, investigation, and dispute. As context they carry the labels and adjacency that make a bare field value interpretable. Combined with the OCR text layer stored in SQL, they are both human-readable proof and machine-searchable content.
