Both Live and Final Snapshots are produced the same way — RPA bots driven against the source UI, gathering the full artifact set (fields, screenshots, reports, OCR text). A Live Snapshot is on-demand capture against the still-running legacy system during Preserve; it's explicitly understood as temporary and may be superseded. A Final Snapshot comes from Final Capture after read-only and is the locked, canonical record. The two can be identical in content; the distinction is authority, not substance. The critical consequence is that Live work is never throwaway: the artifacts and the configuration, schema understanding, and factory effort behind them accrue directly toward Final Capture, so there's no rework. Live Snapshots come in two patterns — Standard (during Overlap, initiated from the successor system) and Early (before Overlap, initiated from the legacy system).
